Wedding Bells, Pumpkins, & A Christmas Wreath

If you don't know this about me, you soon will... I love being a part of the surprise -- it's such an honor, and I couldn't be more delighted.  Most of my work is gifts, and knowing this is just so much fun.  My sweet friend, Mary, asked me to draw her son & new son-in-law's house for a wedding gift.  Um, yes.  No need to ask twice!  She would give this to them at their reception on Saturday.  So the really fun part of this story is I joined the bunch of them for Halloween in John & Brett's front yard to hand out candy to the thousands (not kidding) of littles and it was a great time -- but I had just finished their work at the printer on my way there and their gift was all under wraps and locked in my car.  At their house.  I wanted to tell them so badly but couldn't; two more days until their party and if ever I needed my poker face, now was the time.

I'm so happy for John & Brett -- they're just such a beautiful and amazing pair.  Congratulations and best wishes for many, many happy years in this wonderful new house you call "home".
